Furnaces
Gas furnaces provide a great way to efficiently heat your home over those cold winter months. SRS Mechanical specialises in installing, servicing and repairing furnaces keeping homes all over the whistler warm, even when the temperatures outside are low.
In order to get the most out of your furnace we recommend an annual service to ensure the maximum lifespan and also keep it running at maximum efficiency. If you are thinking of replacing or adding a new furnace, you may qualify for a rebate of up to $1000 from Fortis BC.
A new furnace runs at 96% efficiency (AFUE) where as systems 10 years and older are typically no more than 65% efficient meaning that 35% of the fuel burnt will go directly outside. For each $1000 spent on energy, this would be a $310 saving. On average a new high efficiency furnace will pay for itself in just 3 and a half years.
Improved air flow will keep the temperature in your home more consistent and comfortable.
New furnaces are quieter and more eco friendly
New high efficiency furnaces draw in air from outside which will create a more neutral pressure, which reduces cold spots.
